We’ve been made aware that some of our posters may be at risk of falling.
What’s the Cause?
Our posters are mounted using aluminum supports, which allow for easy wall installation and create a clean, intentional 20mm offset from the wall.
These aluminum supports are attached to the back of the posters using high-adhesion double-sided foam tape.
However, our usual supplier significantly changed the composition of this tape, making it much less resistant to the weight of our posters — and particularly vulnerable to atmospheric changes such as humidity and temperature fluctuations within a room.
What Are the Risks?
As a result, there is a potential risk of the poster falling, which could damage the artwork or anything beneath it.
This issue mainly affects aluminum-mounted posters.
Our plexiglass-mounted posters use a much stronger type of adhesive tape and are not affected.
What Should You Do If This Has Happened?
We sincerely apologize to anyone whose poster may have fallen.
We understand this is unacceptable, and we encourage anyone affected to get back in touch with us, even after this long period of inactivity (you can read the explanation [here]).
We will review and handle each case individually, step by step.
Even if your one-year warranty has expired, we are still committed to resolving this issue for you.
Who Is Affected?
Only posters shipped between October 2024 and December 2024 may be affected.
Not all of them are at risk — as we switched to a different adhesive starting in December.
Does the Risk Still Exist?
No. We have since changed both the supplier and the adhesive.
We now use a polyethylene foam tape with acrylic adhesive, which has a very strong initial tack.
It’s suitable for both indoor and outdoor use (though outdoor lifespan is shorter) and offers excellent long-term resistance to aging, ensuring a secure and lasting mount.
